Help marginalised girls and boys realise their educational dreams.
Empowering children and communities out of poverty.
Providing marginalised communities life of dignity.
We promote free, equal access to inclusive quality education for all orphan and underprivileged children – from early learning to secondary education.
Our goal is to foster a thriving nation by enhancing the nutritional well-being of both children and mothers.
Our teams are also preventing and treating malnutrition, providing clean water, and saving lives of children.
We work with moms to help them weather the drought: we help women to grow crops, raise hearty goats, save funds, and improve their family's health.

Message from our Founder & Executive Director

Mr. Rakesh Kumar Yadav

Founder & Excutive Director

Namaste to all our well-wishers, donors, partners, and beneficiaries,

Health, Nutrition, Education & Agriculture Research Development Nepal (HEARD Nepal) is a non-profit, non-political humanitarian organization, founded by dedicated professionals from the health and development sectors. Our mission is to establish HEARD Nepal as a Centre of Excellence in Health Policy, Systems Research, Human Resource Development, Communicable and Non-Communicable Disease Control, Nutrition Research, Maternal and Child Health, and Disaster Prevention and Management. Additionally, we are committed to promoting advancements in agriculture and inclusive education, guided by evidence-based practices and policies that support sustainable development.

Our efforts focus on strengthening health systems through targeted interventions in non-communicable disease (NCD) management, maternal and child health, and high-quality research. With the invaluable support of our national and international partners, we have achieved notable progress in health policy formulation, health systems research, disaster prevention, and nutrition enhancement. By working closely with local, provincial, and federal governments, we aim to improve the delivery of essential health services, ensuring the well-being of communities across Nepal.

HEARD Nepal is also deeply committed to humanitarian work. We actively support orphans, semi-orphans, marginalized communities, and underprivileged women and children, enhancing their access to quality health services and education. Our work in agriculture and livelihoods helps uplift vulnerable populations, empowering families to achieve economic stability and self-sufficiency through sustainable development initiatives.

As Nepal’s federal structure continues to evolve, we take pride in the progress we have made. However, we recognize that this is an ongoing journey. The feedback and perspectives of our donors, beneficiaries, and well-wishers remain vital in refining our strategies and enhancing our impact.

With your continued collaboration and support, we can further improve socio-economic conditions, advance human development, and strengthen health outcomes across Nepal. Together, we will build stronger, more resilient communities.
