Dr.Amar Bahadur Shah a Veterinary Science graduate (India) and Masters in Agriculture and Rural Development (Australia) is a livelihoods and community development expert. He has served GoN for more than 29 years in different capacities such as field extension worker, Farm Manager, Chief of National Livestock Breeding Centre, Regional Director, and Project Director of Asian Development Bank funded livelihood improvement project. He retired from the civil service as Chief Livestock Development Officer (Joint Secretary Level) and served as Senior Agriculture and Livestock Advisor for three and half years in Save the Children led and USAID funded project SABAL. He is currently working as Team Leader, Technical Assistance Service Provider team in the World Bank funded Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project (NLSIP) being executed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Government of Nepal.
