Mr. Hardik Sapkota is a seasoned public health professional with over a decade of leadership experience in health systems strengthening, adolescent and reproductive health, maternal and child health, nutrition, and health financing. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and has served in senior technical and managerial roles with Population Services International (PSI/Nepal), Save the Children International, the National Health Insurance Program, and the Institute for Social and Environmental Research–Nepal (ISER-N)

He has led multi-district programs, managed strategic partnerships, ensured donor compliance, and strengthened monitoring and accountability systems. His expertise spans program design, policy implementation, stakeholder coordination, and institutional capacity building. As a published author in peer-reviewed international journals, he actively promotes evidence-based public health practice.

As General Secretary of HEARD Nepal, Mr. Sapkota provides executive oversight on governance processes, institutional coordination, policy compliance, and strategic alignment. He plays a central role in strengthening organizational systems, ensuring accountability, and advancing sustainable, inclusive health and development outcomes.
