Mr. Dharmendra K.C. serves as the Vice-Chair of HEARD Nepal, bringing over 15 years of experience in livelihood development, disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation (DRR/CCA), nutrition-sensitive programming, enterprise development, and governance support. He holds a Master’s degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from Tribhuvan University and has worked extensively with national and international development organizations including UNWFP, Helvetas Nepal, OXFAM, IOM, UNHCR, and other leading institutions.

Throughout his career, Mr. K.C. has led multi-sectoral programs focused on market-driven livelihood promotion, vocational skill development, anticipatory disaster response, monitoring and evaluation systems, and financial inclusion. He has demonstrated strong expertise in stakeholder coordination with provincial and local governments, private sector actors, and community institutions, ensuring program alignment with national development priorities and donor compliance standards.

As Vice-Chair, he provides strategic leadership and institutional guidance to strengthen HEARD Nepal’s governance framework, program quality, and long-term sustainability. He supports policy direction, oversight of multi-sectoral initiatives, and the integration of GESI-responsive and resilience-focused approaches across organizational programming.

Mr. K.C. remains committed to advancing inclusive economic empowerment, strengthening community resilience, and promoting accountable and sustainable development practices that benefit marginalized and vulnerable population.
