Ms. Nikita Shrestha serves as a Board Member of HEARD Nepal, providing strategic oversight and contributing to the organization’s governance, institutional growth, and programmatic direction. With an academic background in public health from Tribhuvan University, she brings analytical insight and a systems-oriented perspective to the Board.

Her engagement spans key development sectors including nutrition, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), disaster response, and community-based health promotion. She has been involved in initiatives focused on menstrual hygiene management, mental health awareness, preventive health education, and youth-centered interventions, contributing to strengthened community resilience and improved health literacy.

In her governance role, Ms. Shrestha contributes to strategic planning, policy guidance, risk oversight, and the promotion of accountability and evidence-informed decision-making. She advocates for integrated, inclusive, and sustainable approaches that address structural health challenges and improve service access for vulnerable and underserved populations.
